Pituitary glands produce a hormone named as hgh . The hormone is integral to human growth and also prescribed as supplement for hormone deficient patients who are especially children. The treatment is termed as growth hormone therapy. The intake of the hormone ensures proper growth and reduces fats while strengthening the muscles. It’s not considered harmful in any way and is recommended by doctors.

As compared to past practices of obtaining the hormone from the human glands, it is now prepared synthetically in the labs. The benefits of hormone extracted in a natural way have supported the growth matters of children. The same is true for synthetically obtained human growth hormone. Despite its positive contribution the critics object its entry into the markets.

Another very important contribution to the medical field is its effect for the beautification of human skin. It slows down the aging process. The use of the synthetically obtained human growth hormone for glowing skin and increased body mass should be kept in limits and under the prescription of expert dermatologist. Body builders also find it useful in giving their bodies a good shape. The side effects that a roughly taken HGH can cause include diabetes, shooting blood pressures, painful joints and fluid retention and inflammation of male breasts. All these give bad name to the hormone that’s useful otherwise.

The human growth hormone supplements though face controversy but efforts are on its way to make it use legal in treatments of hormone deficient patients. The most important thing is its cautiously controlled use otherwise the benefit may bring harm to the health.
